Spherical Roller Bearings
Spherical roller bearings use a double row of roller that which are thicker in the middle and thinner on the ends (barrelled). The outer raceway is sphered whilst the inner raceway is shaped to hold the two rows of roller, allowing the outer raceway to accommodate, misaligned loads.
Warning, a spherical roller bearing has higher friction than the corresponding ball bearings as different parts of the roller run at different speeds.
